Gathering deeper engagement insight
The Leprosy Mission is an international Christian development organisation that diagnoses, treats and offers specialist care to leprosy patients. The Leprosy Mission is the largest leprosy-focused organisation in the world.
Objectives
Provide the opportunity for staff to share their experiences of working with The Leprosy Mission.
Gain deeper insight into the factors that impact staff engagement at a global and individual country level.
Increase organisational performance and meet strategic targets.
Increase awareness of the importance of staff engagement globally throughout the whole federation of organisations.
Solution
The Leprosy Mission worked in partnership with Agenda Consulting to develop and run a global pulse survey including 15 statements questions selected from Agenda Consulting’s database of questions.
The survey gathered staff views on factors that would encourage engagement such as interpersonal relationships, communication, line management, trust, leadership, inclusion, values and culture, well-being, and reward.
The Leprosy Mission to leveraged all internal channels and key HR personnel to communicate the importance of staff engagement and the survey on a global scale.
Outcome
The survey provided an opportunity for The Leprosy Mission staff to share opinions, especially for areas they might not have been comfortable saying out loud.
The Leprosy Mission were able to share deep engagement insight with their staff on a global level as well as on a country level.
Action plans were able to be developed with country leaders to take further steps toward maintaining and improving staff engagement.
