Strategic People 2019 – B2

How to: Agile working

Agile working can help drive workplace culture, increase creativity, productivity, performance, satisfaction and collaboration for staff and volunteers. This session is a ‘how-to’ for implementing agile working across your organisation, with key steps and common sense tips to make it about more than the physical work space. Caroline and Sue share their background on what agile working means for Prostate Cancer UK, why and how they went agile, and what worked well and less well. They will hold a Q&A, and also welcome questions in advance of the session.

Caroline Mark, Head of Volunteer Engagement at Prostate Cancer UK

Caroline is passionate about the transformative power of volunteering for those who give time and the organisations and causes they support. Her professional experience includes leading volunteers in the health and heritage sectors, creating and delivering volunteer-led services, and communication, along with a lifetime of volunteering in roles as diverse as fundraising, counselling, being a warden and serving as a Trustee. In this ever-changing world, she believes the future of volunteer engagement lies in being agile, creative, collaborative and pragmatic.
