Strategic People 2019 – A1

Leading in uncertain times

Learn about how the Stroke Association has supported its leaders to navigate complexity and ambiguity with confidence; to empower teams through collaborative, distributed and systems leadership; and to develop a new corporate strategy with this learning at its core. Come away from this workshop with concepts and ideas to explore with your leadership and people teams.

Kyla Lacey-Davidson, Head of Engagement and Internal Communications, Stroke Association

Ruth Gibbins, Head of Learning and Talent Development, Stroke Association

Ruth Gibbins helps support the development of knowledge, skills and behaviour to enable people to perform to their potential. Ruth has a track record of increasing employee engagement, getting great performance out of teams and seeing positive culture change become a reality. Ruth says the reason she does learning and development is the sheer enjoyment she gets from seeing people grow; no two days are the same. At home she is happily married, has a giant Newfoundland dog, a passion for horse racing and a thrill for skiing at speed. Ruth has also been known to go to the gym on occasion to try and keep up with everything!
