The most discriminating engagement survey questions for INGOs

When designing your employee engagement survey, a large consideration is which questions to ask to provide the most insightful feedback from your people.

To help INGOs design their employee engagement surveys, we analysed the survey results for all our INGO clients over the period 2016 to 2021. We focussed on identifying the questions where there was the greatest variation in results between INGOs, indicating that the questions are highly discriminating and that there is plenty of scope for performance improvement for many INGOs.

The results are set out below and include the 10 questions with the highest interquartile range – the difference between the lower and upper quartile of our INGO sample.

The 10 most discriminating engagement survey questions for INGOs

There are a lot of factors to consider when designing your employee engagement survey. Choosing questions which have a substantial variation between INGOs, will help deliver more meaningful insight that you can take forward into positive change for your organisation.

We have worked with over 40 International Non-Governmental Organisations (INGOs) on their employee engagement surveys.

Do get in touch if you would like to discuss your next employee engagement survey.
