26th June 2008Nacro have an impressive record on workforce diversity, including this year receiving first place in the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index, which lists the top 100 gay-friendly employers in the UK. Kulbir Shergill will be talking on the organisation-wide strategies that have facilitated this success, including staff communication, dignity at work, awareness-raising and developing managers to be able to recognise and manage incidents of bullying. Nacro’s equality and diversity scheme focuses on the 6 main diversity streams, as well as other groups such as ex-offenders.
