Finance Count workshop: Purchasing Systems and Controls

5th March 2008

Chris Day, Strategic Procurement Manager at RNIB, will provide an overview of where Purchasing previously was as a function within RNIB and where it is now. He will demonstrate the relevant procurement systems and controls that have been used to create more effective contract management. Finance Count Workshop: Investment Strategy

Russell Shea, Finance Director at Charitable Funds for Hammersmith Hospitals, will be sharing his experience of investment strategy at the Funds. He will discuss several different strategies, as well as asset classes and the effect that the charity’s mission has on investment. Finally he will explain the rationale behind his approach to investment diversification.
