Transforming the finance function to deliver the organisation's strategy

Tuesday 24th June, 2-5 pm, CFDG, London

Melvin Coleman, Finance Director, Amnesty International UK

As FD Melvin Coleman has led Amnesty International UK's Finance Function through significant change over the last 10 years. This has included changes to the structure, processes and skills within the function to deliver greater efficiency and more value to the organisation. Melvin will talk about the challenges of leading change, gathering information to inform the process, and developing skills and technology.

The workshops consist of a brief case study from a high performing organisation, followed by a chance to share ideas and current practice in group sessions. They are designed to explore various aspects of financial management in the voluntary and community sector in depth, and to identify and share good practice.

Who should attend?

Finance Directors, Heads of Finance, Finance Managers, Chief Executives, senior managers and others who are seeking to improve their organisation's approach to financial management.

What are the benefits?

• Discuss and compare your own situation and experiences with those of your peers
• Learn about good practice
• Obtain practical know-how about how to move forward in your organisation
• Receive a write-up of the case study and good practice points.
