Introducing People Count™ Law

Agenda Consulting

"A definitive benchmarking resource"

Paul Robinson, Director of HR, Watson, Farley and Williams

People Count™ Law is a unique human resources benchmarking study designed specifically for the UK law sector in partnership with HR in Law, and led by a Steering Group of HR Directors.

By taking part in People Count™ Law, you will get a clear picture of how the HR processes in your firm compare with those in other UK law firms.

Participation in the study involves filling out a questionnaire, and on completion you will receive a series of detailed reports, including a firm scorecard which sets out how your firm's performance compares with 7 or more of your chosen peers and with the sector as a whole. This provides a powerful, tailor-made tool which you can use to contribute to performance improvement and cost management. The reports also contain examples of initiatives from high performing firms involved in the study.

As a new service we are also offering a one-to-one telephone consultation to all participants as part of the subscription. This will assist you in the process of effectively interpreting and applying your results.

86 firms took part in 2006 and 2007, including 60% of the top 50 firms and over 50% of the top 100* firms. To create our 2008 database we will combine the data from 2008 with that of 2007 in order to give you a wide range of firms to choose from when selecting your peers. Peers can be selected on the basis of size (rank and number of UK Fee Earners) and geographical location.
